Business Collaborator Business
Collaborator (BC) is a web based knowledge collaboration product
that enables information in the form of workspaces, documents,
drawings, e-mails, databases, discussions, bulletin boards, news
or any other file type to be securely distributed, version
controlled and shared between teams, customers, suppliers and
business partners. Business Collaborator makes use of web
technology to make it easy to access the desired information.
BC is platform independent - it doesn't matter what kind of
computer or what operating system you use, you can share your
information with clients who use Macs and colleagues who use old
and new PCs. BC is browser independent - it doesn't matter
whether you have the latest web browser installed, haven't
upgraded for a few years, use something like Firefox or need to
access via a PDA. And it is location independent - it doesn't
matter where you are - at home, at work, at a client's office or
on holiday - you can still log in.
BC was initially used to enable the management of projects
across geographically distributed teams, and is widely used
today by a variety of industries for exactly that purpose. The
product has now developed beyond simple “Project Collaboration”
and is being used for knowledge management and database
